Jeff Ingrum

Jeff Ingrum is President and Chief Executive Officer of Baylor Scott & White Health Plan in Temple, Texas, part of Baylor Scott & White Health. He was appointed to this position in April 2016. Jeff brings with him a wealth of experience from 18 years as President and CEO of another provider-owned health plan, Health Alliance Medical Plans, in Urbana, Illinois, where he served a total of 28 years, including 10 as Chief Financial Officer.  

Under his leadership, Baylor Scott & White Health Plan has undergone a remarkable transformation, growing to more than 500,000 members due to increased member satisfaction and the successful acquisition of FirstCare Health Plans in Austin, Texas. 

In 2019 and again in 2023, Baylor Scott & White Health Plan was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the Best Insurance Companies for Medicare Advantage; and in 2023, the health plan’s Medicare Advantage HMO plan H8142 was rated 5 stars by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. (Every year, CMS rates plans based on a 5-Star scale. Ratings may change from year to year). 

Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois, and a master’s degree in Health Administration from the College of St. Francis, Joliet, Illinois.
