Our mission extends beyond providing healthcare coverage. As part of Baylor Scott & White Health, we take the time to study the health and social needs of the community around us, creating informative resources for the use of medical professionals, nonprofits and other groups. These resources also help us invest in health programs for the most vulnerable populations. Through these efforts, we remain true to our founding mission as a Christian ministry of healing.
Baylor Scott & White Health remains steadfast in its commitment to closing gaps in care. Acknowledging the existence of health disparities among different populations, we are dedicated to addressing these differences through targeted Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs and initiatives. Our focus extends to providing cultural immersion experiences for clinical pastoral education students, fostering a better understanding of the diverse needs of our patients. Additionally, we offer language services to assist patients with limited English proficiency, ensuring that language is never a barrier to quality healthcare.
